SDG 4 - Quality Education

Europe
For SDG4, Quality Education, we feature Vital Voices. Women know that education is a precious gift; they often pay it forward by sharing new skills and resources with each other, and by working to further develop their communities. Europe is one of the most equitable places in the world, however, gaps in educational opportunities still impact women/girls. Co-founded by Melanne Verveer and former Secretaries Hillary Rodham Clinton and Madeleine Albright, Vital Voices helps women expand their skills, make connections, and increase their visibility as leaders. Vital Voices has supported more than 20,000 women changemakers across 185 countries. We’ll travel to Warsaw, Poland to follow a cohort of successful graduates, explore how they implement what they learned in their communities, and how they pay it forward to girls ages 16-19 through their “I am a Leader” program. This program aims to develop talent, challenge stereotypes, and promote feminine leadership styles.

"We believe in the power of mentoring, networking, supporting each other, and the mutual exchange of cross-cultural experiences. We want to influence and increase women's participation in social, economic and political life in Poland.
That's why we created the Vital Voices Poland Club to educate and reinvest in our community and beyond."
